Cable Strain Relief and EMI/RFI Shield Termination Backshells for M83733 / DPK Connectors
MIL-C-83733 connectors are utilized in military aircraft applications and are subject to severe electrical, environmental, and mechanical stress. The cable side of these rack-and-panel connectors must be equipped with strain relief or cable shield termination backshells in accordance with DLA specifications. Glenair’s split-shell backshells for MIL-C-83733 connectors are available in three designs which offer either a standard cable clamp, saddle-bar style strain-relief, or an EMI shield banding platform. Tongue-and-groove joints in the split-shell designs provide optimal electromagnetic compatibility. Backshells may be ordered with up to six cable entry locations for complete flexibility in wire and cable routing.
