Materials, Backshells, and Fittings
Certain application environments, such as commercial aircraft, vehicles, and transit systems require unique or special purpose materials to be used in all wire-protection interconnect systems. The use of low-smoke zero-halogen materials, for example, is a common requirement in transportation systems. This section of the Glenair high performance conduit catalog presents a selection of just some of the special purpose core materials and fitting designs available from Glenair. These products are generally not compatible or intermateable with the tubing and fittings found in the other sections of this book. However, if there is a particular functional design that is of interest, Glenair is certainly able to produce the part for use with our standard Series 74 and Series 75 materials.
