Self-Locking Saddle Clamps are recommended for aircraft wiring harnesses with open wire bundles. Anti-decoupling mechanism provides audible detented coupling and prevents backoff under high vibration. Full radius saddle bars have self-locking SST clinch nuts. Wrap wire bundle with tape or use rubber bushing. Tighten saddle bars until fully seated on clamp frame. Full radius saddles should be fully bottomed onto frame.
