Military Standard Circular Connectors and Other High-Reliability Interconnect Solutions

Glenair excels in the design and production of Special Purpose Connectors: from quick disconnects for missile launchers, to shorting plugs to prevent accidental weapon firing, bulk head feedthroughs, multichannel fibre optic connectors, and extreme temperature and pressure connectors for jet engines and other harsh environments.

Glenair's Sav-Con® Connector Savers are designed to mate with multi-contact circular Mil-Spec connectors and test cables which are subject to repetitive mating cycles during manufacture and test. One of the most dramatic applications of our Sav-Con® connectors is on the space shuttle Orbiter where they provide protection for the umbilical connectors from lift off to touchdown on every mission.

Our family of Hermetically-Sealed Mil-DTL-38999 Connectors is also designed for harsh and demanding environments. The compression glass sealed receptacles are used in high-pressure/low leakage applications in air, sea, and space environments. Glenair is an innovator and leader in the development of both military standard and custom-designed Hermetic Connectors.

Built for use in severe environments, Glenair's Series 22 Geo-Marine Connectors and Cables have been tested to hydrostatic pressures up to 5,000 PSI and exposure to extreme temperatures and corrosives. Our Geo-Marine products are used in off shore oil drilling, mining, and other oceanographic and geophysical applications.

Glenair brings more than 50 years of experience designing and manufacturing high-performance interconnects to our line of Mil-C-28840 Connectors. The connector series employs high density, front-release crimp contacts for use with Navy shipboard cable and wire.

Glenair developed the Series 80 "Mighty Mouse" Connector for high-performance applications such as missile systems, satellites, man-portable battlefield gear, light armoured vehicles and geophysical exploration. The front-release, crimp-contact connector is ideally suited for reduced package size applications.
