The three-day event featured presentations from each of Glenair’s product-line managers, as well as factory tours, and business and marketing sessions. Mike McGuire, Director of Sales hosted the event, and, together with Chris Toomey, Executive Vice-President, provided the market analysis which tied the product information sections together. Mike and Chris stressed that each of the new product lines we are targeting for significant growth came about due to customer initiated requests - generally because the existing suppliers in these areas have not met the needs of the marketplace. If the current mix of suppliers are as weak on customer service as they appear, there is no reason why Glenair can’t apply its winning formula to win a lion’s share of the business for our “growth” products.
