Designing interconnect systems which deliver
clean data streams, undistorted by electromagnetic
interference or pulses (EMI/EMP) is an enormous
challenge. Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
requirements have been established to insure that
the performance of an individual electronic device is
not degraded due to its proximity to high-frequency
electromagnetic interference, and also to prevent the
device itself from becoming a potential source of EMI.
Sensitive electronic devices also need to be protected
from voltage spikes generated during transient states
or static discharges in the overall system.

Military Standard Type Circular Filter Connectors |

All filtered receptacles are intermateable with standard plugs and connector savers, and each respective family of connectors is supplied with a range of shell styles in both environmental and hermetic configurations. |
Series 80 "Mighty Mouse" Filter Connectors |

Glenair's filtered Series 80 "Mighty Mouse" connector family provide significant size and weight savings compared to larger "MS" connectors. The high density #23 contacts provide almost double the density of D38999. These filtered receptacles mate to Series 801 stub ACME threaded, Series 803 Bayonet and Series 804 Push-Pull plugs and are available in jam nut or square flange versions. |
