 aving celebrated his 41st year in the interconnect industry on March 12th, Herb Naus has joined the Glenair team as a Senior Product Engineer. Previously, he served 8 years with AMP Matrix, and 33 years with ITT Cannon in Santa Ana, California.  Herbis also involved with Glenair’s Sav-Con® connector savers product line. He brings immense product knowledge and experience to his new position with Glenair. He enjoys photography and was an avid camper for many years until he discovered that one can still commune with nature without sleeping on the ground in a tent. As Herb says, nothing beats a luxury hotel. |
 loyd Murray, headquartered in Florida, is Glenair's new Director of Product Development for the marine marketplace. Born far from the seven seas in Apache Junction, Arizona, Lloyd grew up on the Salt River Indian reservation. At the tender age of 16, wanting to fight for his country, he doctored his birth certificate to show that he was 17, old enough to join the Navy. During his 20-year career with the U.S. Navy, Lloyd rose through the ranks to Chief Torpedo Man, retiring in 1978 to become a soldier of fortune. Building a torpedo facility for the Shah of Iran, he narrowly escaped the Iranian revolution, beating the Shah out of the country by only two weeks. Lloyd joined Sigmaform, specializing in integrated marine products. Raychem acquired Sigmaform in 1988, and Lloyd stayed on until 1996 when he started his own firm, Tradewinds Consulting. He joined Glenair in February of this year. Lloyd makes his home in Orlando, Florida with his wife, a Disney executive. He has eight children and nine grandchildren, including a brand new set of quadruplets. |
