o that’s not Arnold Schwarzenegger touting Glenair’s manufacturing prowess—it’s none other than our own Al Bladyka, who, together with an international cast of Glenair employees, is now appearing in the Glenair marketing video “Backshells and Beyond.”  Produced as a sales and marketing tool for use by Glenair’s worldwide sales team, the ten-minute video will be distributed during the first week of August.

  Backshells and Beyond,” like the company’s new web site and FAX ad campaign, focuses on Glenair’s business and market strengths as well as our “growth” product lines—conduit, fiber optics, specialty connectors, composites and tools.  And, as with the other new marketing initiatives, you can play your part by leveraging the “key messages” from the video in all your customer communications and interactions: fast turnaround on quotes and custom orders, 15,000 part-number strong “Same-Day” inventory, “no minimum order” policy, full spectrum product lines, worldwide market coverage, and outstanding technical service and support. So pass the popcorn, and give all the Glenair staff who were brave enough to face the hot lights and cameras a big round of applause.
