here is a pretty obvious reason the team working on the revision of Glenair’s Circular Connector Accessories Catalog have started referring to the book as “The Big, Bad, Book o’ Backshells”: the already hefty tome has grown from some 280 pages to over 550 since its last revision in 1995. The year-long project to re-fashion Glenair’s “backshell” catalog into a comprehensive guide to Glenair’s connector accessories is now in its final review cycle. A complete catalog of Mil-Spec connector accessories will be published separately.
The new catalog features a number of design and format changes which should make the book easier to use, including a fold-out reference table covering connector interface standards. Every product series has been expanded to include the complete range of part numbers, and new product series, such as Band-in-a-Can backshells, have also been added. Look for distribution of the new catalog early this fall.
