Glenair rectangular backshells provide total enclosure of the mated plug and receptacle connector for optimum electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding. Three cable entry locations are offered: a straight "top" entry and two 90 degree "end" and "side" entries to satisfy most installation requirements. Glenair's split backshell design provides easy assembly and convenient access for ongoing connector service and maintenance. All standard materials and finishes are available including composite thermoplastic.
