High Reliability Connectors

Glenair excels in the design and production of Special Purpose Connectors: from quick disconnects for missile launchers, to shorting plugs to prevent accidental weapon firing, bulkhead feedthroughs and high temperature connectors for jet engines.

Glenair's Sav-Con Connector Savers are designed to mate with multi-contact circular Mil-Spec connectors and test cables which are subject to repetitive mating cycles during manufacture and test. One of the most dramatic applications of our Sav-Con connectors is on the space shuttle Orbiter where they provide protection for the umbilical connectors from lift off to touchdown on every mission.
