Sigmaform Backshells

Glenair's Sigmaform Backshells are available in three different designs and two material choices, stainless steel and aluminum. Each design incorporates an integrated shrink boot, ready for easy installation and final recovery over the backshell body. The Glenair Sigmaform "01" model is a convenient one piece solution to environmental sealing of the backshell/cable interface. The integrated shrink boot also provides light duty strain relief. The Glenair Sigmaform "02" model adds a banding platform for termination of EMI/EMP shielding. The Glenair Sigmaform "12" provides both enviornmental and EMI protection, and features an extended shrink boot which fully encloses the backshell coupling nut, to prevent decoupling even under severe vibration and shock. Glenair Sigmaform backshells are available in a wide range of adapter angles, including 30°, 45°, 60°, and 90° configurations. Standard spin coupling nuts and self-locking nuts are also available as are special low profile 90° models.  Reference Information |
